Getaway Brief is a static travel guide site. You can read guide pages without creating an account and without submitting personal travel documents.

Information Getaway Brief collects

Getaway Brief does not collect account registrations, bookings, passport details, payment-card numbers, passwords, or private itinerary documents.

Analytics

Getaway Brief uses a privacy-friendly analytics posture. If analytics is enabled for a public deployment, it should use self-hosted Umami or another site-owner-approved privacy-friendly provider for aggregate pageview and event measurement. Getaway Brief does not use Google Analytics by default.

Affiliate links

Some pages may include affiliate or referral links after partner approval. If those links are active, Getaway Brief may earn a commission at no extra cost to the reader. Guide recommendations should remain based on traveler constraints, source notes, and editorial fit rather than paid placement.

Contact and forms

This static site does not currently process contact forms or newsletter signups. If a contact form or newsletter is added later, this policy should be updated before collecting submissions and should explain what is stored, why it is needed, and how readers can request deletion.

External sites

Outbound booking, map, venue, transit, hotel, tour, and partner links are controlled by their own operators. Review their privacy and refund terms before submitting information or making a purchase.
